Devotional
The protection and the prosperity of the Lord does not always indicate God blessing our goodness or behavior. Therefore, we are not to take the blessings of God for granted. Just because our needs are being met and our enemies are not prevailing over us does not mean that we are doing things right. It may just demonstrate the mercy of God and the care He gives to His Name. It is for this reason that we are to take care for His name’s sake. We carry the name of Christ. We are ambassadors of heaven. What we do reflects whom we serve, and we serve the Lord God. Our testimonies are of the highest importance. How we carry ourselves publicly and the integrity we use emulates Christ and His church. May our character be as those who represent the Creator of the universe. Pray that the Lord would keep us from presumptuous sin for His Name’s sake.Daily Reading
