Dry Bone Dreams

And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”(Ezekiel 37:3)
Devotional
Sometimes our dreams and goals are like Ezekiel’s bones, no life and no hope. Nevertheless, God is more than able to put new life into shelved dreams and forgotten goals. God called Ezekiel to speak to those bones. He was to tell them to hear the word of the Lord. The same applies to us. We are to speak to our dried up desires. We are to speak the word life into them. This we do by dedicating them to the Lord and giving Him the glory for whatever the accomplishment may be. Remember the life that was once in you. Remember the joy and excitement you had. Speak to that dream. Speak to those dry bones and watch the Lord restore life to that which was dead. Do not forget, give it to the Lord. Dedicate your endeavors to Him. He is a great partner, and all He requires is ten percent, and of this, He will return to you multiplied.Daily Reading
