Moms more than often have a way of not only knowing, but also saying the right thing at the right time. Here, Mary, the mother of Jesus went to her Son and informed Him that the wedding feast had run out of wine. By her word was the, "beginning of [the] signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and [the] manifested [of] His glory; and His disciples believed in Him."[20] There is much to be said about this first miracle: Jesus honored His mother, he honored His host, He honored marriage, He initiated His ministry and He glorified God. Furthermore, He revealed Himself to His disciples and those at the wedding feast. We likewise must not miss the significance of Mary's instructions to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it." Do you need a miracle? Let us also heed the words of Mary, "Whatever He says to you, do it."Daily Reading
