Title

The Place of Battle

Scripture
Having done all, to stand. Stand therefore... praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.
(Ephesians 6:13-14&18a)
Devotional
Prayer and supplication is the seeking of God's will and protection. It is not the preparation of the battle; it is the battle. The victory of Calvary was won in Gethsemane. Prayer is the battlefield of life. When we learn this principle of warfare we learn to be victorious in warfare. When the battle is won in prayer, we reap the spoils of the battle. War is never easy; neither is prayer. Prayer, honest supplicating prayer, is a soul-searching labor. Consider Christ in the garden, "Being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground."[24] Allow me to encourage you to set a time aside for this life changing battle. Begin by praying seven minutes a day. I know that sounds trivial, but I am talking about seven minutes of focused prayer
