For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.(2 Corinthians 8:12)
Devotional
God never calls us to do what we are unable to do. If He directs, He equips. God will test our willingness. He tested Abraham by instructing him to offer up his son Isaac. Abraham was willing and God provided. God is much more interested in our hearts than our abilities. For if the heart is right, God can and will take care of the rest. If God calls you to give and you are willing to give, He will supply beyond what He has required. We never have to worry about being called to do or give more than we have or are able. If He directs you to a feat that is greater than you, you can be sure that something great is going to come your way. If God calls you to make a sacrificial offering, He will bless you through that offering. He only requires a willing mind.Daily Reading
