For you were once darkness, but you now are light in the Lord.(Ephesians 5:8)
Devotional
Without Christ, there is no light in the soul of man. He is in total darkness. We need the light of the gospel to see clearly and honestly. We cannot understand nor comprehend the things of God without the light of Christ. We were once in darkness. Do you remember that darkness? Sometimes we forget from where we have come. Sometimes we get used to the light and forget the awfulness of the darkness. Our familiarity with the light must never breed contempt. We are not to take the light for granted. We are to walk in the light as He is in the light, and we are to have fellowship with one another. If you sense darkness about you, flee that darkness. If you sense the light of the gospel growing dim in your life, run to the proclaimer of the gospel. If you are around those who are groping in the dark, shine.Daily Reading

On this very day, pastor Tony Fogliio is headed in for quadruple bypass surgery on his heart. Please pray for the Lord's will to be done, and for strength and comfort for Tony, his family and friends as they face a challenging and scarey situation.
