Do You Have A Private Place?

Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord.(Genesis 19:27)
Devotional
Do you have such a place? There can be several. Each believer can have a private place to go: maybe in a garden, a park or even a room in your home. Another place to go where we have stood before the Lord is your church home, the place of worship and praise. Then there is the place in the confines of your mind. Of all the places to go, the recesses of the mind are my favorite. The mind can be accessed anywhere and any time. In a crowd or all alone, we can escape to be with the Lord. The best time seems to be early in the morning (At least scripturally). We are at our best in the mornings. We have fasted as well as rested the body and mind. When we go to stand before the Lord, we ought to go at our best. We should go open and ready to fellowship with Him and to receive instruction. We should go with great anticipation, joy and hope. We should go early in the morning to the place where we stood before the Lord.Daily Reading
