In whom or what are you placing your trust? Anything other than Christ is untrustworthy. If we are not trusting in Christ, there is cause to fear. If we are not trusting in Christ, it will matter very much what man can and will do to us. Here is a little test: Do people intimidate you? Are you constantly looking for approval from people who make do difference in your life? Do you find yourself making false statements so that you will look better than you really are? If you answer “Yes” to any of these questions, most likely you have put your trust in someone other than Christ. Think about the power of God. Think about His love for you. Think about the promise of eternal life. What is there to fear? I am amazed that we can trust God for eternity, but have a hard time trusting Him now. With Christ, the best is always yet to come. Do you believe that? Therefore, daily put your trust in Christ. Daily dare to be all that He would have you to be.Daily Reading
