Devotional
We serve the God of truth. Jesus said of Himself that He is the truth. There is power in the truth. It is a sure way to find favor with God. He delights in it. The truth does not require a good memory. Lying on the other hand must remember its last stand. To know the truth is to know Christ. To know Christ is to have the absolute truth available to you. It is very difficult to be deceived or to deceive when you have Christ in you. There is only an abundance of freedom. And isn’t freedom the thing that we strive for the most? Think about it. You can have this perfect freedom. Do you remember playing hide and seek as a child? If you got back to home base, you would shout, “Free!” Christ is that home base. You no longer have to hide. You can run home and shout, “Free!”Daily Reading
