Has Your Hour Come?

Scripture
“Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You.”
(John 17:1 Jesus spoke these words)
Devotional
As Jesus spoke these words, let us heed them. Proverbs says, “To seek one’s own glory is not glory.” Jesus never drew glory to Himself, even though He is worthy of all glory. The only reason He asked to be glorified was that He in turn could glorify His Father. We are likewise not to seek our own glory. Nevertheless, if and when glory comes our way, its purpose is so that we would glorify God. To receive glory is to receive great honor, praise, distinction and renown. When these characteristics are present, people look to you and will listen to you. Therefore when glory comes your way, and if you belong to Christ it will, give it to the Father. Give God the praise and honor. Point those who desire your attention to Christ. Has your hour come? Do people look to you because of your distinction or fame? You are blessed. You have the awesome ability to more greatly glorify God. Has your hour come?

Friends, what are you doing with the glory God has given to you. The glorious life, beaut, wisdom, creativity, designs, prosperity, work, and other things, what are you doing with them. Friends, we all MUST ACCOUNT for the glory God has give us. Keep right from now and used the glory God has given you to glorify Him. Better is a little with righteousness than great revenue without right. Proverb 16v8.

We were created by God, Our heavenly Father, to worship and praise Him.
We were given "talents" or skills to praise HIM. Thru Jesus Christ, Amen.
