A few people seek godly counsel. Most people seek agreement. Jehoshaphat’s question ought to be the first question when seeking counsel, "Is there no prophet of the Lord here?” The answer to his question is “Yes!” There was and there is and there always will be. A prophet is one who speaks forth the mind of God. He is neither a fortuneteller nor a prognosticator. He is a communicator of God’s Word and will.
