Scripture
The world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
(1 John 2:17)
Devotional
What are you doing for God that will last forever? How are you tagging your life? Look at the things that you are doing and how you are investing your time.  Imagine that you have two tags in your hand and one says eternal and the other temporal. Now start tagging your life. What things are temporal and what things are eternal. After you have tagged your life, ask yourself, “Where should I be investing my time, talents and resources?" Temporal investments pay temporal dividends. Eternal investments pay both temporal and eternal dividends. Which are the best investments? Where should you be investing? The answer is a no-brainer. This isn’t rocket science. This is common sense 101. Why would we spend so much time and energy investing in that which is quickly fading? Why not look at the tags of your life and reinvest in that which will pay eternal dividends and also comes with an awesome retirement plan.
