It Is Time To Open the Book

But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.(Daniel 12:4)
Devotional
It may be time to open the book. Never, in all of history, have people been more mobile. We travel at the speed of sound from city to city and continent to continent. It is commonplace to awaken in one state and go to bed in another. As you read these words, you may be one who is traveling to and fro. Furthermore, there has never been a time of greater increasing knowledge. As I write this simple devotion, all I need do to access immeasurable knowledge is click the mouse on the Internet icon. I have more knowledge at my disposal than all the volumes in the world’s largest libraries. And this knowledge is increasing at breakneck speed. I cannot imagine any greater time than this for the prophecies of Daniel to begin to manifest themselves. Therefore, let us watch, for our redemption is drawing near. Never has a generation of believers been closer to the return of the Lord than this present generation. I pray that this causes you to rejoice.Daily Reading
