As the wrath of a sovereign monarch has the ability take life, the wrath of a leader has the ability to kill a dream, desire or ambition. Therefore how we deal with those in decision-making leadership may determine the success of our endeavors. The wise will appease the temperament of those who have the authority to approve or reject their undertakings. It is always better to win the favor of authority than to attempt to defeat their authority. Any attempt to usurp or undermine rightful leadership can and usually does bring about wrath. And the fruit of wrath inevitably brings death. Therefore let us always attempt to be peacemakers and win the favor of those in authority. From the politician to the CEO, let us learn to find favor instead of fault. Let us heed the words of the psalmist and, "Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it."[25]Daily Reading
