Scripture
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.(Psalm 23:6)
Devotional
He leads us from the valley of the shadow of death to still waters and green pastures. He truly is a soul restorer. When we learn to trust in the Good Shepherd, our lives are continually filled with goodness and mercy. Even in the seemingly hard times of life, we can experience His unmerited favor and forgiveness. His goodness and mercy will lead us through heartache and suffering. His goodness and mercy will direct us through trials and tribulations. His goodness and mercy will guide us through misfortune and even death. There is not a realm of life in which we cannot experience His comforting presence. No matter how trying life may become, His goodness and mercy will overcome them. Besides His goodness and mercy, He adds the promise of eternal life, “And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”Daily Reading
