Devotional
Am I profitable? Do I add value to those around me? If not, then I must ask myself, “Am I teachable?” If I belong to Christ, then I am His. If I am His, He says that He will teach me to profit and the way I am to go. Therefore, I have no one to blame for my profitability other than myself. Likewise, if I am lost, it is because I did not follow His way. Remember the scriptural admonition, “Let God be true, but every man a liar.” The simple key to profit and direction is being teachable, having an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. I am to listen with an ear toward obedience. I am not to violate my conscience nor the Word of God. I am not to separate my spiritual life from any part of my life. I am to be a spiritual man always.Daily Reading
