Devotional
We live in a time of inordinate tolerance and false equality. Not everything or everybody's lifestyle is to be tolerated. We are not to tolerate that which God abhors. Nor are we to honor that which God calls dishonorable. We have become a society that awards whiners and punishes winners. We give honor to the foolish and dishonor the honorable. From arrogant athletes to perverted entertainers, we have become a nation that gives honor to fools. Sexual morality is dishonored; perversions are honored. How can we prosper when we bind the stones of success in a sling? Do we really think that God ignores our rebellion? Do we really believe that tolerating what repulses God will go unpunished? If we do, we have bound our stones in the slings of the foolish. Do not tolerate the intolerable. Do not give honor to those to whom it is not due. Trophies are for winners not whiners.Daily Reading
