Title

Foolish Propensity

Scripture
He who sends a message by the hand of a fool cuts off his own feet and drinks violence.
(Proverbs 26:6)
Devotional
God does not use fools to convey His eternal message of salvation. Therefore to judge God's messenger as such is to judge the one who sent him. Likewise, whenever we are attempting to convey our message to the world or the market place, let us make sure that we seek wise, prudent people to do so. I have found that if someone is foolish in one realm, they will be as foolish in another. If foolishness got someone in financial trouble or caused him or her to loose a job or position his or her time of probation would be very lengthily. If you are a leader and you hire or bring someone on with you who has a history of foolishness you are most likely crippling yourself and poisoning your endeavor. I am by no means saying that a person is not worth another chance, but I am saying be careful in hiring someone with a propensity toward foolishness.
