Devotional
Such a simple, profound truth. Therefore, everything that emanates out of God is good. Even the things we may perceive as unfair are good. When God created light, He said that it was good. When He created the dry land, He said that it was good. Six times in the creation account of Genesis, God said that what He had created was good. “Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good.” When we by faith understand that everything God does is good, our faith and trust in Him will not only grow, but flourish. When Joseph’s brothers sold him into bondage he said to them, “But as for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good…” The same applies to you and me. God always deals with us for our own good because He is good, and only does good.Daily Reading
