Title

When You Do Not Know, Ask!

Scripture
Surely I am more stupid than any man, and do not have the understanding of a man.
(Proverbs 30:2)
Devotional
Have you ever felt this way? I sure have. There are times in life where we may feel or be so inadequate. I often find myself in situations where I just do not know what to do. I find that I am bewildered and powerless. When these situations arise, and they will arise, I have to make a choice. I can succumb to the feelings of inadequacy and prove my ignorance or I can do as Agur did. After Agur realized his lack of understanding and ineptness, he did a very wise thing. He began to ask questions. His feeling of stupidity was with regard to his lack of wisdom about the things of God. Therefore, his questions: “Who has ascended into heaven…? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, If you know?” Therefore, when you do not know, ask.
