Title

Stock Up On The Word

Scripture
“Behold the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor...water, but hearing the words of the Lord.”
(Amos 8:11)
Devotional
We are blessed to live in a nation with great religious liberty. However, that liberty is slowly eroding by our tolerance for sin. There are presently countless great churches throughout our nation. Each is filled with God-fearing people and anointed pastors who unashamedly proclaim the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ. This is not the case in much of the world. I have seen a few of the great cathedrals and basilicas of the world, and most are empty museums of past glories. There is a famine of the words of the Lord. We are not to take for granted the blessing we have with regard to God’s word being clearly proclaimed in America. Please make sure you are receiving your share weekly. It is a time of plenty. The Gospel of Christ is very much alive and well. Therefore, it is a time to fill our barns with the word of the Lord.
