Title

Are You A Pilgrim?

Scripture
To the pilgrims... [the] elect according to the foreknowledge of God... Grace to you and peace be multiplied.
(1 Peter 1:1-2)
Devotional
Do you see yourself as a pilgrim? Is your life a quest for that which is sacred? Do you see life as a journey instead of a destination? If you can answer yes, you are a pilgrim. You are part of God’s elect who have God’s grace and peace available to them. We have been graced to walk this pilgrimage of life. We can do so through the drudgery of chaos or the gateway of peace. We have been saved by grace. The only way we can walk in that grace is by faith. We can manifest that faith by choosing peace. God not only wants us to choose peace, He desires for us to have it in abundance. The apostle Peter begins both of His epistles with the same greeting, “Grace and peace be multiplied to you.” Why not greet your life with the same salutation? Walk in the grace of God and choose His peace for your life. No matter what life may throw at you, you have the ability by grace to choose multiplied peace.
