Title

The Sacrifice

Scripture
This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings which he shall offer to the Lord.
(Leviticus 7:11)
Devotional
There is no discipline without sacrifice. There is no success without discipline. There is no discipline without a cause. Whenever called to a task, there will always have to be a sacrifice. Something will have to be given up to accomplish the endeavor. A key to success is knowing what you are willing to sacrifice to achieve your goals, dreams and desires.  A greater key to success is knowing what  the Lord would have you sacrifice to achieve His desire for your life. For example: To marry, the single lifestyle must be sacrificed. To succeed in business, laziness must be sacrificed. To live for Christ, we must be placed on the altar of sacrifice. The apostle Paul said it this way; “I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” God the Father sacrificed His Son for you. Will you sacrifice your sins for Him?
