Devotional
This seems to be the commentary of the twenty-first century Christian. We almost do it right. However, faith in Christ is not a horseshoe game. Close is not good enough. We believe all that God says, except… We trust God for everything, except… We know God can do anything, except… And the infamous, We obey all of God’s Word, except… When we add exceptions to the things of God, He makes exceptions to the blessings of God. The Creator of the universe has not called us to a partial obedience. He has called us to a complete obedience and there are no exceptions. Your life is not an exception. Your situation or circumstance is not an exception. I thank God that we for the most part attempt to do what is right in the sight of the Lord; nevertheless, God demands total obedience. Let us not make exceptions. Let us do and follow the whole counsel of God with out exception.Daily Reading
