Devotional
The Lord God is the source of all life-giving light and the protector of His own. His Word shines the light for our path, and His Spirit protects and seals those whom He has purchased. He equips the brethren and gives honor to His warriors. ?Likewise, His Word and His Spirit equip the believer for every good work. When we walk obediently with Him, He in turn graces us or gives us the ability to succeed at whatever He has called us to do. He also brings us to the state of glory in those endeavors. ?In these circumstances we are able to receive whatever we ask, because we will only request those things that are pleasing in His sight. We will not only request such things but we will also expect such things because we know he will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly.Daily Reading
