Title

Do You Need A Personal Revival?

Scripture
Revive me, O Lord, for Your name’s sake! For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.
(Psalm 143:11)
Devotional
Whenever we allow circumstances and events to totally control our lives, we are all but dead. Whenever we fall into a life of habit and lethargy, laziness and sluggishness, we are in need of revival. What will be different about today? Are you able to distinguish one day from another, or does each day blend together? Do not allow the inertia of life to drive you into a mundane existence. A life of mere existence is a life in trouble. It is a life that needs to pray, “Revive me, O Lord!” If you belong to Christ, you have no business living a mediocre lifestyle. God has not redeemed you for mediocrity. You have been wonderfully saved for a great purpose. God has devised a plan for your life. Therefore, for His name’s sake and His righteousness’ sake, seek it out. Live each day to the fullest. Set goals and fulfill them. Plan your work and then work your plan. Pray, “Revive me, O Lord!"
