Devotional
As the scriptures declare, "We are fearfully and wonderfully made."[4] Just think about the marvel of hearing and sight. Stop, look and listen; life is so very awesome. God's creation is both melodious and magnificently designed. There is symmetry and harmony throughout all of creation. And we get to see and hear it. To think that sight and hearing have evolved over a period of years demeans the wonders of both, let alone the power of God. Sight and sound reveals the truth of the foolishness of the fool when he says, "There is no God."[5] And because God has created the eye and the ear, we are to be careful of what we allow them to hear and see. For each is a doorway to the heart and mind. Sights and sounds are gifts from God to be seen, heard and enjoyed. Therefore, listen, look, yet guard your heart. Seize the sights and sounds of the day and you will take hold of your life.Daily Reading
