Title

Real Peace

Scripture
“If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for peace!”
(Luke 19:42)
Devotional
We seek peace through a myriad of avenues. We attempt to acquire peace via the road of knowledge. In our day peace is sought by way of tolerance. If we can learn to tolerate any and every lifestyle then surely we can be at peace. However, we cannot tolerate what God does not tolerate. This is definitely not the way to peace, especially peace with God. Even financial independence is incapable of bringing peace. There is only one source of peace, and His name is Jesus. If Jesus Christ is not your source of peace, you have no peace. He has said, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (1) This is it. This is the true source of peace, a personal, real, obedient relationship with the Creator of the universe, the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no other source of peace. Get hold of this and you can have peace every day and every night. Your life and your rest will be sweet.

(1) John 14:7

Since coming to Christ, I have an Inner peace I have never known before. I was getting If you can call them..."Hints" but the sermons from Pastor Tony and receiving counseling... and being "Reborn" I am at peace. A co-worker commented to me that since I began attending church, I have become more "Animated".or happier than before.....
